AI People Counter Product Privacy Statement
To FOORIR’s Dear Customers:
Data privacy is a core principle of our technology development and product design. As an AI People Counter solution provider, we are committed to offering secure and transparent technical services within a compliant framework. This statement aims to clearly explain the privacy protection mechanism of our product during data collection, processing, and storage, to ensure you have a full understanding of our technical solutions.
1. Core Positioning of Product Technology and Privacy Protection
1.1 AI People Counter ≠ Traditional Cameras
Traditional cameras record recognizable images (photos/videos). Our AI People Counter is an embedded intelligent processing device:
- Data Processing Logic:
The device collects stereoscopic visual information via dual CMOS image sensors and converts it into anonymous spatial coordinate data (such as x/y coordinates, behavior trigger signals) in real time using stereo matching algorithms. No identifiable images are used.
AI features like age, gender, and work badge recognition are processed inside the device. No images, videos, or specific personal data are retained—privacy is protected at the hardware level. - Localized Computing:
All visual processing and AI analysis are done locally on the device. No photos or videos are output or stored. Only encrypted, anonymous data (e.g., passenger flow, movement trajectory, gender/age statistics) is transmitted.
1.2 Zero Collection of Biometric Data
Our AI People Counter does not collect any biometric identifiers such as fingerprints, facial images, or iris scans. It only captures behavioral trajectories and space-based attribute statistics. All data is anonymized and cannot be linked to specific individuals.
2. Privacy Control Mechanism for Data Processing and Storage
2.1 Strict Limitations on Image Data
- Pre-deployment Phase:
Low-resolution, non-identifiable images (without personal features) are used for device calibration and technical debugging only. No personal data is involved. - Official Operation Phase:
After device configuration, the AI People Counter does not upload any visual data. It only retains anonymized data such as timestamps, coordinate sequences, and attribute information.
2.2 Technical Barriers to Identity Recognition and Data Association
- The device’s AI module is used solely for behavioral analysis. It does not have biometric extraction capabilities and cannot identify returning customers or store personal information.
- When a person leaves the monitored area, their data path is cleared. A new anonymous trajectory is created when they re-enter.
- Only processed statistical data (e.g., gender/age distribution, flow density, stay duration) is uploaded—none of it is linkable to individual identities.
2.3 Data Security Architecture
- Embedded AI Computing:
All data processing and AI analysis are done on-device, with no video stream output, reducing external data storage risks. - Transmission Encryption:
All uploaded anonymous data is encrypted during transmission to ensure security.
3. Compliance and Industry Privacy Standards
3.1 Multi-Jurisdiction Compliance Support
Our product complies with global data privacy regulations, including:
- EU GDPR
- US CCPA
- China’s Personal Information Protection Law
The system architecture avoids compliance risks associated with image collection.
3.2 Privacy-First Industry Practices
“Data availability without visibility” is the preferred solution for privacy-sensitive environments like retail stores, malls, transit hubs, and office buildings.
4. Customer Support and Privacy Protection Commitment
4.1 Transparent Service Process
We provide customers with a full privacy configuration guide. Data collection scope and AI analysis modes can be customized to suit specific scenarios and privacy requirements.
4.2 Internal Privacy Compliance Mechanism
We have established a strict internal review system to prevent privacy violations. This includes:
- Technical training
- Partner data protection agreements
- Regular Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA)
These measures reduce the risk of data misuse.
4.3 Contact Information
