Hey guys! Today I’m gonna share with you how I installed a visitor counter with a dashboard. It was quite an adventure, but I got it done, and I’m here to tell you all about it.
First off, I did some research on different visitor counters. I wanted one that was easy to use and had a nice dashboard to show all the stats. That’s when I came across FOORIR. It seemed to have a good reputation, so I decided to give it a shot.
I started by heading over to the official FOORIR website. There, I downloaded the installation package. It was a pretty straightforward process, just like downloading any other software. Once the download was complete, I double – clicked on the installer file.
The installer asked me a few questions, like where I wanted to install the software on my computer. I just went with the default option because I didn’t really care too much about the location. After that, it started the installation process. It took a few minutes, but I just sat back and waited.
Once the installation was finished, I opened the FOORIR visitor counter software. It asked me to create an account. I filled in my email address, came up with a password, and hit the “Sign Up” button. It verified my account right away, and I was in!
Next, I had to configure the settings. I set up what kind of data I wanted to track, like the number of visitors per day, where they were coming from, and what pages they visited. FOORIR made it really easy to customize these settings. There were sliders and checkboxes everywhere, and I just clicked and dragged until I got everything the way I wanted it.
After configuring the settings, I needed to integrate the visitor counter with my website. FOORIR provided a piece of code that I had to copy and paste into the HTML of my website. I logged into my website’s backend, found the right place to paste the code, and saved the changes. It was a bit nerve – wracking because I was afraid I’d mess up my website, but everything went smoothly.
Finally, I waited for a while to see if it was working. I refreshed my website a few times, and then I went back to the FOORIR dashboard. Lo and behold, there were already some visitor stats showing up! It was so cool to see how many people were visiting my site and where they were coming from.
So, that’s my experience of installing a visitor counter with a dashboard using FOORIR. It was a bit of work, but it was totally worth it. Now I can keep an eye on my website’s traffic and make better decisions based on the data. If you’re thinking about installing a visitor counter, give FOORIR a try!
